" Hey You Redskins..."

So, now that football is finally over, Josh has moved on to coaching Basketball. It is not quite as intense as football, but still very time consuming. So since the games started three weeks ago, the girlies and I have been going to all the home games. The girls arent much into the game, but they love to watch the cheerleaders. Bailey especially likes to cheer. She will yell out "Hey you Redskins, rise up to victory!" That is part of her fave cheer. (Redskins are our mascot.) She learns new cheers each time we go though. So last night A few of the cheerleaders made Callie and Baileys day by letting them and a couple other little girls hold their pom poms on the sidelines. They were all so cute. When they started a cheer the little girls would stand up and try to follow along with the arm movements.

Then at halftime Bailey put on her own little sideshow dancing to whatever song the band was playing. A good time was had by all.

A real tree!

On Moday night for FHE we went and cut down our Christmas tree. We went as soon as Josh got home which was 5:30, but it was of course already dark out. Josh wanted to do it That night anyway. I love having a real tree. Until we moved here last year we always had a fake tree that My in laws gave us and I hated it. But, it was free and we are poor. So when we moved here I was so excited because you can just pay five bucks for a Christmas tree permit and go in the mountains and cut one down. Yay.
So Joshs folks live right by a canyon and we just drove up there and looked for something decent looking off the side of the road. Bailey was so cute. She was so scared to be driving in the woods at night. The silly thing is though she was just sitting in the truck the whole time. Maybe it was because Callie was telling us about grizzly bears.
We went to Grandmas and Grandpas after getting and thats where we took these pictures. we all look ridiculous in all of them, which I think is pretty hilarious.
This last one is from at Grandmas, the girls had Fat Boys for dessert. She seemed to get alot worse after the pic was taken.

Out in the Country!

It has been a while since I last Posted. It seems like forever, but it has been a really not so exciting month. The Kiddies both had the stomach flu at the same time, which was so not fun especially because they are both little and we only have one toilet. Josh and I never got the flu though so that was good. So and yeah ever since then the kids and Josh have all been sick on and off with various things. Josh even missed Thanksgiving dinner over at his Aunt Cheryls house. We had a really good pumpkin cheesecake thing and a very exciting game of Fact or Crap, which really isnt that fun of a game. On to other excitment a couple weeks ago on a saturday I looked out the back window to see this in the above picture. You probably cant tell what it is because it is a horrible picture, but there was a fox in the field right behind us. That totally freaks me out. I was thinking geez I let my kids play out there and theres just foxes running around. But , my Father in law says they wouldnt hurt anyone probably just the cats. I am okay with that!
Then On Sunday we were getting ready for church and I looked out the front window and saw a herd (or whatever ) of cows going down the road. keep in mind, we live right on the Highway. Only in a small town I guess.

Grandma Sandys Chrismas Gift

So I have been trying to think of things to get my mother-in-law for Christmas and I had a few okay ideas. I dont think she reads blogs or knows I have one and so I thought it wouold be okay to put her maybe gift on here. And if she does read then, sorry Sandy you may not be surprised for Christmas .
Last night I was looking on Anthropologie online and they have such cute stuff. I want it all. But I was looking in their holiday stuff and saw this apron:
I know it is way small, but hopefully you can see how cute it is, and it even has a matching hot pad. So I dont even know if she wears or likes aprons. I tried asking Callie because she has baked with her, but she didnt know. So after seeing this one I decided to look at some other aprons. Here are some I liked from Heavenly Hostess:The first two are actually gardening aprons, which she does work in the garden, I mean ya know in the summer and stuff, and they have hair bands to coordinate with some of their aprons. Both the gardening ones had one to match. The last two are for the kitchen . They also have a lot of other really cute ones, but they are really pricey.

Then there is one at Domestic Darlings. This one is pretty cute and also has a matching head band. They also have a matching kids apron which is really cute. I dont really bake or anything very much and I am not much of an apron wearer, but there are such cute aprons out there I think even I would wear one. So what do you all think. Do you like the apron gift idea or should I go a whole different direction. And if you like the aprons, which one ? I welcome all other Mother-in -law gift ideas. Thanks for the help.

Happy Halloween!

Here are the Girlies in their little costumes. In case you cant tell Bailey is a Bee and Callie is some kind of pink fluffy puppy. Grandma and Grandpa Stewart came over tonight to check out the costumes and we decided to go out to eat together. We went to the Royal Wolf which is this local pubb and it was sooo good. The top pic is at the pubb and the reason the girls look so thrilled is because they were both very impatient waiting for their food.
After din din we decided to just take the girls to Halloween on Main. It was just basically all the businesses on main street were open to go trick or treating to. So we got some candy and went. Bailey couldnt wait to get home to eat her candy she started a sucker in the car.

And then she would switch off with the sucker and other candy. Here she has the sucker in her mouth and a snickers in her hand. And done here is the two of them hogging out . The back of the bee has a little stinger which everyone seemed to get a kick out of. Thats it woo-hoo. I hope you all had a good Halloween!

Twilight

Okay so I have been reading this book, yep thats right I Michelle have voluntarily read a book. Which I didnt think was that big of a deal , but everytime Josh saw me reading it he was like, 'this is wierd I havent seen you reading like this before.' so I assured him that I have read books before though few and far between, I just havent finished any books. In fact I couldnt remember the last book I actually read all the way through. But, I did it, i read this book, the whole thing. I just finished about 20 mins. ago. Hoooray me! I have to say it was really good.(obviuosly or I would have stopped a long time ago.) A friend got it out and had me borrow it about a month ago which from what I hear is about 27 days longer than it has taken most people to read this book, but whatever. I do however since beginnning this book find myself suggesting that maybe so and so is a vampire, and other such comments. So thanks to other bloggers( Em and Morg) who have posted about these books. If I hadnt heard all that I had about it I probably wouldnt have opened the book after bringing it home. Who knows I may even read the next book, New Moon, in the future.

Other than that not much going on. We did finally name the kitties. Well, Callie did anyways. The fluffy one is Fluff. I know, I know, Original. and the other one is Lucky. I dont really know why, I think she thinks it is lucky for him that he got to come live at our house. Josh went hunting last night and got a Chicken, I think he actually called it a Grouse which I dont know what that means or if I spelled it right. Grandpa Craig Fried it up and we al had a taste. Josh and the girls liked it esp. Callie, I however though it was disgusting. it was too chewy and tasted yucky. Football has FINALLY ended, they had their last game on Fri. I am so glad to no longer be a football widow. But, in a week or two I will become a Basketball widow, as Josh will begin coaching the Freshman team. Hip Hip Hooray! So thats it thats all got.

Feeties

Bailey has a few of those soft pajamas with the feet that Zip up and Callie is way jealous and wants some . I have only been able to find them up to 5T. Callie is five but she is too tall for 5T. So does anyone know where to find them in a size 6? I know I have seen them for adults before, which would personally drive me crazy. My feet would suffocate. So if they have them in adults they must be out there for 6 year olds right?
