Josh made homemade butter tonight with his Grams old school churn. We bought some fresh milk straight from the cow and scooped off the cream.
After much turning of the handle the butter chunked together. He drained off the buttermilk, Shaped it and there we have butter!
It is in the fridge for the night to harden, but I am excited to try it out tomorrow! Makes me want to bake a loaf of bread!
That was a special valentine from a boy at school. Said boy has also planted a smoocher on her previous to this gift. Hes got a little crushy-poo on my little Bailey. I thought she was going to be embarrassed or whatever about her little Valentines gift she got, but nope she wasnt. But the feelings are not mutual because she says he eats his boogers. Ahhh Kindergarten.
Callie always ends up with tons of candy, but at least this year she had sense enough to not eat it all at once causing herself to ralph, like last year.
And heres Mars just because I cant leave her out. She mooched plenty of treats from her sisters.
Yup guys, its that time! Time for all the comments from complete strangers about how huge I am. Thank you people. As if I was not already aware. The past couple of days it has been things like "oh you've dropped" and "you are going to have that baby early aren't you". How do these people know if I have dropped? They have never seen me before. But really these type of comments have been coming for quite a while now. About 2 months ago Mr. Walmart checkout (young) man asked when are you due, when I told him the middle of April he in shock says "wow, you are showing a lot really early." Thank you, thank you for letting me know, but what the H do you know about it. Seriously, what does he know about how I should look while pregnant. One lady ( who just so happened to be another checker but not from Wally world) said " Oh, I carried like that with (childs name, said like I was supposed to know this child) , all out in front and big like that." We saw Santa at the ward Christmas Party, Callie told him she wants a robe and a pillow pet.
This is from cutting down our trees, this year was a little different : a. we did this completly in the light b. we had already gotten so much snow this year that we had to cram everybody on a snowmobile and go into the canyon instead of driving.
