Here is everyone else pushing through the extreme wind to get up to a house.( a really gorgeous, big house.)a. The weather sucks! Some years there is snow, last year it rained, this year- riddikulus winds.
2. Houses are not generally close together.
3. Horribly long driveways are very common.
4. There needs to be some kind of dang universal signal that you are home and have candy, and another for not home, dont have candy, or just want to be left alone!( Cause if I run up your long dang driveway with a 3 year old who's paper dress is blowing away, someone better be giving up some kind of dang treat!)
So I think from now on we will be sticking to trunk or treats in our snow boots and such instead of the door to door, but we really did have fun despite the above list. Probably because Marlee laughed the whole sprint up every driveway, and was so excited and always came back and told the adult who stayed in the car with Greenlei that they gave her candy (like she was still in shock that it was happening.)

right after we got there we spotted one of Callies BFFs So we didnt see to much of her for the rest of the time.
this was all marlee would do in the water. she was not as into it as I thought she would be, would only get her feet wet.
I brought a bounder along and Greenlei had a nice nap in the shade. I was really impressed though the park not only has lots of big trees, but also quite a few big umbrellas, so there was always plenty of shade near all the action.
