Not Much

There is not much exciting going on at our house. Our computer died the other day. Dead. All of a sudden just wouldnt work anymore. So we bought a walmart special. woo - hoo.
We had a couple of days of nice weather. That was awesome, but today it looks ugly out it will prob rain, or perhaps snow. Yay!
I had some false labor last friday night. That was fun. I had contractions for like an hour and a half that were like 4 mins apart. I was so cranky because it hurt but I really didnt think I was actually in labor. I mean I can handle labor, but what is the point of all that pain for nothing. After about the hour and a half though I started thinking what if it is real, I didnt have a bag packed. It was the day I turned 36 weeks. So I got up and started packing just in case at about 1 in the morning and the contractions stopped. We went to bed about 1:30. I slept, but had contractions off and on until 4. So annoying, why is there such a thing as false labor.
Thats really about it. Today is my day to help out in Callies class. That should be exciting. All right, so, have a nice day y'all.

Kittens

So my Mummsie is sick of seeing the biggest loser girl, so to please her I am posting. Not much excitement here. I have been a little bit of a grouch lately,my poor girls are probably so sick of me. The bad attitude is likely due to having the 6th sore throat since I have been pregnant. I am just kind of sick of feeling like crap. It is getting better now though.

I have some bad news. Our cat had kittens the other day. I cant remember which day. there were six, but two were dead when we found that she had delivered and one was dead the next morning when we went to check on them. I am not exactly thrilled about having three kittens. I wasnt happy about having a cat. We didnt think she was old enough yet to get pregnant we were going tohave her fixed or whatever soon. Too late! I dont think it is her fault though there was a big black cat that was hanging out and wouldnt leave her alone one day and I think he took advantage of her. Anyways here are a couple of pics. You probably cant even really see them, but I think they are quite hideous.

I think it is time for Callie to stop wearing these Jams!

House pics

We went to check on the progress of the house this evening. Here is what it looks like as of right now. It is coming along.

This is a lovely pic of our front door from the inside.

Biggest Loser Finale!

Biggest Loser is my fave show. I am so sad that it is over cause now I dont have anything to watch. I cant seem to get into Idol this season. Anyways, the finale turned out awesome! I tried to put a pic of the winner, Ali, but as you can see its teeny. I was so thrilled that Ali won. She lost 112 pounds and went from 234 to 122 or something close to that. So awesome. I was also so glad that Mark did not win, yay, and that Roger did not win. I think they are both buttheads, and both thougth they had it in the bag. HA! I was glad that Bernie won the kicked off contestant money especially when he beat Mark by a pound. Anyways, that was the best BL outcome yet. I really wish it was on every week.

Callies New Do

Callie has really been wanting a haircut. I told her that she could have one and so she told all her friends at school that she was getting one. Then she bugged me about it every day, multiple times. So, finally on saturday while dad was ice fishing with Gramps, Mom and the girls went to get the haircut. I didnt think to make an appointment ahead of time because I wasnt going to take to her the salon deluxe, but when we got there they couldnt fit her in, and neither could the next place. I didnt know what other places there were so I decided to take her over to the Hair College. I was a little nervous, cause you never know, but I thought that it is a kid cut, how bad could the do. It was supposed to be chin length, which it is a little shorter, but I think its pretty cute.

Since this post is all about Callie I thought I would tell a cute little thing she did about a week ago. She woke up a little after me and came out and told me that she wanted to do a surprise for me so I need to go in my room until it is ready. So I did and was in there for quite a while. She came and got me and Bailey who had woken up. Callie had made us all breakfast. Wheaties for me and Bay(no wheaties for herself because she refuses to eat most healthy cereals), Toast all around, and Water for me and milk for Cal and Bay. Very sweet of her. Here was the problem. The first thing she did was put about half a cup of wheaties in the bowls and about two cups of milk. THEN she toasted three peices of bread ,seperately, and put a little bit of butter on each peice, and did the drinks. So I had VERY soggy Wheaties and VERY dry toast. Not easy for a pregnant lady to choke down, but I thanked her and forced myself to eat it with a smile and told her how delicious it was. Again so sweet, but we really got to work on the breakfast skills!

FINALLY!

We have a basement. The foam blocks were able to be stacked on monday and the concrete was poured inside on Wednesday. It only took two weeks longer than planned due to the weather. Not too bad I guess. It should be smooth sailing from now on, right?
Here is the view from the inside.
This is from the outside.

32 Weeks!

I am finally 32 weeks now and looking stellar, LOL. That means only 8 weeks left! Usually that seems really long, but occasionally I think wow thats not that far away i should probably start getting ready for her. Ive been getting a lot of comments lately, especially at church. They will ask how much longer I have or when are you due, and I tell them and they will say things like
"oh wow I thought you were a lot closer than that" or "really, well I guess you dont have that much place for the baby to go except out." Im really enjoying what people have to say. Yes people my stomach is huge and I still have 2 months to go.

I guess I have been feeling alright though. I still sleep pretty good at night Which is weird because I am still exhausted most of the day. I do get heartburn a lot, thank heavens for TUMS! When I went for the gestational diabetes test, you know where you drink that incredibly delicious crap, I had a high reading for the blood sugar. I was just a little over high enough to have to come back a week later and do the 3 hour GTT. Talk about fun. I got to drink even more of the delicious crap and sit in the hospital waiting room for almost four hours after having not eaten since 8 the night before because you have to be fasting. And, I Got to do five times of having my blood drawn throughout the 4 hours and since my veins are apparently hard to find and roll away I got poked 8 times. Yup, that means 3 times she stuck the needle in and got nothing so had to do it again. Ive decided that getting poked in the hand hurts more than in the arm, but getting poked in the exact same spot a second time hurts the worst. I had convinced myself that I had it because I had all 3 of the symptoms that it talked about in the What to Expect book. But, Luckily, I do not have gestational diabetes. I was sooooo glad! mostly because I did not want to have to stop eating ice cream!
