New Find!

I was just on Babycenter and there was this link to a new store called Crazy 8 . It is a new store from Gymboree. It is the same kind of style as Gymboree, but it is way cheaper. YAY! I was so excited. I always need cheap and I really like a lot of Gymborees stuff, but I only buy from their clearance. The sale section had some really good deals, but really the regular priced stuff is not too bad. They have a section called Crazy Good Deals and I have to say they were pretty good!
Go check it out here.

Snow Day #2

Yesterday, the day after I posted about last weeks snow day, we had another snow day. Just so that any of you who dont have to deal with this delightful kind of weather know, in order for school to be cancelled the early morning temperature has to be below -30. Yup thats right I said NEGAVTIVE 30 Degrees. Other conditions such as closed roads like last time can also qualify. So, yesterday morning the temp here was -30 or less. We thought we might have another snow day today, but apparently the morning temp only reached -20. Luckily it doesnt stay that cold all day I just checked online and we are at -2. How lovely.

In other news, if I sound like I am in a bad mood, it is because I am. I had an ultrasound today and after almost wetting my pants in the waiting room a half an hour after my scheduled appt. I had to wait an extra half an hour and drink more water so that my bladder could refill a little. Then to top it off we were unable to see if the little guy is in fact a little guy or a little girl. We were so disappointed. I have been nervous for like the past 2 months that this would happen and it did. So put that in your back pocket!

Snow Day!

We have been really boring lately, I had a HORRIBLE cold that is finally getting better. Last Tuesday though we had our first snow day. We could hear the wind howling all night and were woken up at about 6:30 when somebody called to say that school had been cancelled for the day. We have had a whole bunch of snow already this year and there were really high winds that day. The highways were closed, so they had to close school. It was pretty hideous I dont think I stepped out the door once, although I did open it to feed the cats and almost got blown away so I went back in and let Josh handle it. He, by the way, was thrilled to have the day off. The Picture is not from that day cause all you cold see that day was white.

Also last week Josh's truck started having some troubles and so we have been sharing the car which means I am pretty much stuck home except for on the rare occasion that Jish is actually. I so dont miss the days when we only had one car.

Lucky, one of our cats, is no longer. We had to put him out of his misery yesterday. When we came home from church yesteday who knows what had happened to him and he was having an issue that was too disgusting to tell you about. Even though I hated him, I really did feel bad for him yesterday.

Oh and I have to say for all that dont know the Giants and Packers game last night was pretty intense (yes, I actually watched most of it.) The Giants won the game which means they will be going to the superbowl. Josh is like the biggest Giants fan ever, so you can imagine the excitment.

Last, I just have a few pics of my goofy girls. They crack me up. I was going through old baby clothes to see what we still have and to try and get them organized. Bailey started trying on the clothes, wishing they would still fit. I was actually surprised that she could get them on her body. They were mostly size 3-6 months. Callie didnt try anything on but she was playing in the boxes and she kapt pulling a blankets over her head and her hair was getting out of control staticy. I hope you all had a lovely week.

How Do I Look?

Okay so this is Callies fave game, not hide and seek or Candy Land like other 5 year olds (probably, not like I really know). She got it from watching How Do I Look which is a show on the Style network. For all those who havent seen the show it is a similar kind of thing as What Not To Wear, only not as good. Anyways, what we do is I have to pick out three "collections" for her each consisting of three outfits. She tries them all on, models each outfit, and at the end comes out in her fave outfit from the collection she liked the most. She then would do all the picking for me. I hate playing this game! I am not into changing my clothes 10 times unless I am at a store trying on new clothes and only then when I actually am going to get to buy something. And the other thing is that we end up with a big pile of clothes that I then have to rehang or refold and put away. But, Callie loves it so every once in a while I agree to play it.
So that is what we ladies did tonight. Josh had an away Basketball game, and we played How Do I Look. How exciting. One good thing does come of it and that is that Callie gets new outfit ideas for school and such. She tends to get in a rut and pick the same things every week, so this helps mix it up a little and she gets no say in the stuff I pick out so she sees that I do pick cute stuff. Normally she does not like me to help her when she picks out clothes to wear each day. Bailey didnt want to play at first because she isnt feeling well, but once she saw big sis getting her picture taken and doing poses she went and picked herself out a few outfits and tried to copy Callies poses. Cute kids.

Birthday Princess!

This year we spent Christmas with my fam in Sac. Christmas also happens to be Bailey's Birthday, which Iam sure she will eventually hate, but for now she is too young to know how unfortunate that is. So, she is now three. We had a little birthday party in the afternoon on Christmas once most of her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins were there and the Christmas presents were done. She was so excited, she definetly loves presents, even clothes. Before her Birthday when I would ask her what she wanted she would usually says "shirts". She really likes browsing the Old Navy website. First thing in the morning when she came down and saw all the presents. She asked me to sing Happy Birthday to her, so I did. Then she thought that once the singing was done she would be able to rip into to all the presents.

The sad thing on her birthday was that we were all kind of sick of desserts and treats and stuff so we never really did the candles and cake thing. I had made a really tasty pudding pie thing and was waiting for a good time to do it, but it never came. We did do it a few days later for her though.

Anyways here are a few cute pics.

These last two are from when we celebrated early at Grandma Stewarts.

" Hey You Redskins..."

So, now that football is finally over, Josh has moved on to coaching Basketball. It is not quite as intense as football, but still very time consuming. So since the games started three weeks ago, the girlies and I have been going to all the home games. The girls arent much into the game, but they love to watch the cheerleaders. Bailey especially likes to cheer. She will yell out "Hey you Redskins, rise up to victory!" That is part of her fave cheer. (Redskins are our mascot.) She learns new cheers each time we go though. So last night A few of the cheerleaders made Callie and Baileys day by letting them and a couple other little girls hold their pom poms on the sidelines. They were all so cute. When they started a cheer the little girls would stand up and try to follow along with the arm movements.

Then at halftime Bailey put on her own little sideshow dancing to whatever song the band was playing. A good time was had by all.

A real tree!

On Moday night for FHE we went and cut down our Christmas tree. We went as soon as Josh got home which was 5:30, but it was of course already dark out. Josh wanted to do it That night anyway. I love having a real tree. Until we moved here last year we always had a fake tree that My in laws gave us and I hated it. But, it was free and we are poor. So when we moved here I was so excited because you can just pay five bucks for a Christmas tree permit and go in the mountains and cut one down. Yay.
So Joshs folks live right by a canyon and we just drove up there and looked for something decent looking off the side of the road. Bailey was so cute. She was so scared to be driving in the woods at night. The silly thing is though she was just sitting in the truck the whole time. Maybe it was because Callie was telling us about grizzly bears.
We went to Grandmas and Grandpas after getting and thats where we took these pictures. we all look ridiculous in all of them, which I think is pretty hilarious.
This last one is from at Grandmas, the girls had Fat Boys for dessert. She seemed to get alot worse after the pic was taken.
