I waited until 6 months to start giving her foods (that is what they are recommending now), which I gotta say I really liked waiting. It was so much easier giving a first meal to a baby that was interested and wanted the food and could handle it and just seemed to know what to do. There was a lot less wasted food and effort than with the other 2 at 4 months. She has pretty much liked everything so far, but I would say bannanas are her least fave. Except ever since she got Croup a few weeks ago she gags on and wont eat rice cereal, peas, and kinda squash. She previously loved these, so I am hoping she gets back to normal soon. She loves juice and I think her fave food and juice is pear.
She got her first 2 teeth at the same time right around Christmas, so right before she turned 7 months. She was pretty miserable Christmas Eve and had the fever and the whole bit. They are kinda crooked, but they are pretty cute. My attempts at getting pictures of them have stunk so far, So here she is in her Christmas dress instead.
For a long time this was about as good as she could do with sitting up.
She really didnt seem too interested in sitting and would just go back down with the toys when I tried to sit her up. I think she really got sitting a few weeks ago at close to 7 1/2 months.
I think she likes to sit now.
Here is her first Giants Tee. that could probably be some kind of milestone in our house.

Here are just a few more cute pics.
A nice big smile. She is a pretty happy little girl loves to laugh at everything. My fave is when I throw a blanket over her and say wheres Marlee and she giggles in anticipation of when I will pull it off. Or another fave is when she will just look over at my and give a little laugh for no reason at all, cracks me up.
I always try to get a picture to show her big adorable thighs, but they just never look as big in a picture.

She also loves to bop, she will dance a little when there is music, and sometimes when theres not. She loves, loves the bath. Even when she was sick and whiney all day she was happy when she was in the bath. She likes the shower too, but its just not as fun.
Thats all I can think of, did I forget anything?
She wasnt too excited, but she was being really brave and was doing all the things she was asked to do
That is until it was time to take her brave medicine. she wouldnt let the nurse give it to her, so the nurse gave it to me and she let me squirt it in her mouth, but then she spit a bunch back out. she must have gotten enough down though because about 5 or 10 minutes later the brave medicine made her really happy. It was so funny. she sat there with a perma - smile and kept pulling her hat down over her face and being a little goofy.
We got her home by 11 and she has done really well ever since. Uncle Billy brought her balloons and a new color book and Grams and Gramps Stewart gave her a little mini dollhouse so she played with those things and ate all day. She was really hungry. Her boo boo hurt when she would move around too fast, but it didnt seemt obe to awful. I thought (and Hoped) that she would sleep part of the day, but no she was awake the whole day and really didnt want to still still or take it too easy. She did good throught the night until about 6:30 she woke up and was hurting. She was alot easier to get the painkiller down at that time, so she must have been hurting pretty bad. She is doing really good today and seems to be recovering really quickly.

Josh went hunting yesterday with his bro. Kody and he got a cow elk. It pretty much looked like the picture above. I didnt show the picture of the one he actually got because I thought the pictures were kind of gross and bloody. Seeing the dead elk in the back of the truck, that I will
Callie was Cinderella. She had a really hard time deciding what she wanted to be this year.
Cal was the only one who would do anything at the carnival and she pretty much rocked too. this pick is throwing a football through the hoola hoop game. What was Cal's score? 3 out of 3! Nice!she also got 3 out of 3 on the one where you throw the beanbag through the hole. Bailey wouldnt do anything that night. She wouldnt even take candy from the ladies when they held out the candy bowl. She said she didnt want to because she would just loose.

Marlee went as a Bear, mostly because I wanted her to be warm.
We ended the night at Gram and Gramp Stewarts.
