Baileys First Day of Kindergarten

Heres Bailey on her first day of School. I completly frogot to get the camera out before we took Callie to school So I earned the Mom of the year on that. But heres Bay all cute, she was really excited and loves school so far.

And...

Here was today, her first day of being Late to school. She came and found me at about 10:30 looking like this with this comb stuck in her hair. I worked on it for a while and got a tiny bit undone and couldnt figure out how to get the rest out so we called Jade (My fave cousin by marriage) to come help us.

Jade saved the day. We pretty much had to cut as much of the comb away as we could and get the hair off a little at a time. When the come was finally out she was left with a big fat clump of knots, which Jade eventually worked them out. We lost a little hair, broke a pair of scissors and it took forever, but at least we didnt have to cut her some very short bangs. And she made it to school only a half hour late at 12:30.

After the Baptism we went to one of our fave local restaurants, Tonys. The have the best mac and cheese and really good pizza.

Callie's Baptism

Callie got baptized last saturday, her and dad.

Grams and Gramps and Claira were able to come up for it.

Stewarts were there.

Wow what an awesome family pic.

It turned out really nice, Gram Sorenson and Gramps Stewart Both gave really good talks. And yeah, good job Cal.

Headband

My good old cousin - by -Marriage, Jade bought this headband for Callie. Marlee put it on herself while she was eating lunch and I just thought she looked so stinkin cute that I had to take a few pictures.

Zoo

We decided yo take the kiddies to the zoo last sat. It ended up being the hottest day we have had this summer, but whatever.

It was okay, I mean you know, a zoo.

Something cute though, we went to lunch afterward. and in the car on the way Marlee told me she wanted some water and I told her we are going to get lunch so she can have some at the restaurant. and she looks at me and says " I forgot my money". I m not even joking, my 2 year old said that, so cute. So I just said "Do you want me to see if Dad will pay for you?" She said yea.

Want a nut, it was so cute. Probably my favorite part of the day.

Callie turned 8 on the fourth, so after returning home from camping we had a little party at the in-laws. Grandpa whipped her up this cake, she wanted Cheesecake so Josh whipped her up one that afternoon, but we didnt realize it takes 12 hours to set up and cool. so we had this one on her b-day and cheesecake the next day for breakfast (and again for dessert that night). I got her this cute dress at downeast for only $7.

Camping for the 4th

we went camping with the in-laws for the 4th of July. Heres a view of our spot from across the water.

Who knew, but Josh is really good at canoeing, so he took everyone for rides.

This is one of the 3 seconds Marlee actually sat still.

It was a really nice camping trip. we ate a lot, played ping pong, rode bikes, tried to fly a kite, played catch and tennis. Good times.
