Josh's Birthday

Joshs 29th birthday was last week. He is getting dangerously close to thirty! He got lots of Giants stuff and lots of computer games. Not so exciting for my taste, but he loves that stuff. Josh and I went out alone the day before and went to eat at Applebees and then went and saw a movie called Drillbit (I think that is what it was called.) It was alright, more of a renter. On his day we pretty much hung out at home and then went to his fave local restaurant with Josh's folks. It was delicious.
This is the girls getting ready to take Daddy out to eat. Bailey had to have her hair done like that because she wanted it to be like Aunt Amandas. Do you do your hair like that Amanda?
Anyways, it was fun I think he had a good day. Happy Birthday Josh, I love You!

Spring Break

This last week was spring break and so Josh had the week off from work. A good time to get some stuff done on the house, right? WRONG! See the plan was to get the foam blocks done on monday, and tuesday if needed, and they were scheduled to have the cement poured in them on Wed. Monday was pretty decent. They were able to get started on the foam blocks that will make up the walls of the basement. There were a few setbacks mon morning like the tons of water on the basement foundation, which just made the day start off a bit slow. so they got like two rows of blocks on and got a good start. The rest of the week though we had horrible weather with plenty of snow and wind. The snow was making it so that the blocks would not fit together (they are kind of like legos). Anyways, it was a waste, so they will try again tommorrow, but it has been snowing half of the day today, so who knows.

Easter

Here are the girls in their very weather appropriate Easter Dresses. We went to church and the heat was not working in the building so we froze through Sacrament and the Bishop decided we should go to second hour and see if it warms up. It didnt warm up so they cancelled the third hour which was okay by me. We were just in time to go listen to Grandma Sandy speak in her sac meeting.

After that we decided to go check on things at the house site. It was a muddy mess. More on the house later.

Then we went to hang out at Grandmas with Joshs brother TJ while Grams and Gramps were still at church. When they got home they fixed Easter Dinner for us all .

The Easter Bunny came to our house and gave Bailey some Barbie bandaids in her basket. So, we are back to the big bandaid on the teeny scratch. She put it on her nose on Sunday night, and the same bandaid is still there right now. Im actually pretty impressed with that because it has lasted through two showers so far. Happy Easter!

Bandaids

Bailey got this little teeny scratch on her nose yesterday. It was small and she didnt even realize it was there until I asked her what had happened to her nose. But, of course, if she has a boo boo then she NEEDS to have a bandaid which her sister eagerly got for her. She got the biggest one she could find! So Bailey insists on wearing it and has kept this thing on since 6 last night. We had to go run a few errands this morning and we got stopped quite a few times by people wanting to know "what happened to this sweet little girls nose" to which I had to reply " oh, she just has a little scratch". AHH 3 year olds!

Gorgeous Spring Weather

The other day the girls decided that they wanted to play outside since it was sunny. I usually say no because I dont want to sit outside in the cold, but it was sunny, and it did LOOK warm from inside the house. So I let them go play on the swingset. Heres the thing, isnt it supposed to be spring? We still have soo much snow! And it was not warm out! At all! Right after I took these pics they both asked for their coats, and when I tried to take the coats to them I got about half way and then, of course, sunk down into the snow up past my knees. Its not easy getting my big pregnant butt up out of that! I am so sick of snow!

Why wont this swing Mom?

Cal, just haniging.

DIGGING DAY!

Yesterday was an exciting day for us! We are officially building a house and yesterday and today there was Finally some action on our land. They ( the digging people or whatever they are called) moved the snow out of the way, yes there is still a lot of the lovely white stuff here, and started digging the basement.

These two are the untouched land about a week ago.

And some goofy kids we found hanging out on the lot. I cannot take credit for the gorgeous hair dos, they did those themselves.

And this is how it looks today. YAY!

My Bump..

... my bump, my lovely baby bump. So there it is. That is quite a hideous picture! Hopefully you can tell how huge my belly is even though I am only 28 weeks today. Callie was the photographer and it took a while just to get that decent of a pic.

So, can I just say, I really dont like being pregnant. I really kind of hate it. The nausea, the headaches, the acidy stomach, the achy bones. The exhaustion, maternity pants, having to pee constantly. The stretch marks, the enhanced sense of smell, the decreased sense of taste ( I have only experienced that in this preg.) There is so much more, but these are a few of my most hated things. And, lucky me I still have a really long time to enjoy these things. YAY!
